I have always been fascinated by the complexity of the intrapersonal. A space where emotions, time, memory, and knowledge live amongst each other. The way that these elements work and war together in a single hidden space has been the driving force behind why I paint.

My work explores this complex hidden space, and its ability to visualize and have self-dialogue resulting in conflict, innovation, and transformations that propel us forward and sometimes hold us back. My work aims to simplify this complexity by creating allegorical paintings that spark personal revelation, reflection and understanding.
